Established in 2004 on a founding idea from Wallès Kotra, at the time regional director of RFO Polynésie, FIFO find its public rapidly. It attracted directors from Oceania and from all over the world, who recognised this event as an opportunity to discover the land of french Polynesia. Through the years, the festival became a showcase for the pacific region and its cultural diversity.
Taking place at la Maison de la Culture, from 01 to 09 february 2020, the event celebrates this year its 17th anniversary.
13 documentaries are in competition but it is not less than 49 films that can be discovered on screen. An opportunity for the directors who made the journey to Tahiti but also for the local public and for the lucky tourists on the spot.
If you are in Tahiti don’t miss a chance to see it by yourself!
