The international competition for dancers from around the world (Tahiti, New Caledonia, France, Japan, United States, Mexico, etc.) will take place from March 28 to April 5, 2020.
In order to participate to this 2020 edition, the associations Nonahere and Ori Heitiare Tahiti propose qualifying events.
The ‘Ori Tahiti I Matavai 2020 is open to any student or professional dancer from local or foreign dance schools and to any person from 5 years and more.
2 categories are represented: Otea and Aparima.
– For the Otea, candidates will have to improvise on traditional music.
– For the Aparima, candidates have to pick the song on which they will dance on a list.
The playoffs start from 9h & 15h for the finals and by categories.
