The “Matavaa O Te Henua Enana” also known as the festival of the Marquesas Islands is a cultural event that took place on the island of Ua Pou from Decemeber the 16th to December the 19th.
Occuring every two years, the festival gathers dancers, singers and artists from all over the Marqueses but also from Tahiti and from Rapa Nui.
3 days of music and dance and joy to celebrate the beauty of the Marquesas culture and to share it with everyone who has the chance to be there.
