Matatini Mou is the best female dancer of this 2019 edition of the Heiva I Tahiti and she is only 20 years old. She has left the audience of Toata -and everyone else who was lucky enough to see her on stage- speechless.
Dancing Ori Tahiti since her childhood, she made her first steps with the well-known dance group Hitireva and learnt from one of the best choregrapher in Tahiti : Kehaulani Changuy.
Now Matatini is living from her passion as she became an assistant instructor to Kehaulani Chanquy of Tahiti (Aratoa/Hitireva) & Tiana N. Liufau of California (Nonosina).
What a great story to tell: A beautiful vahine travelling all around the world to share her culture and her love for Ori Tahiti.
