In September in Tahiti, everyone is back to school !
Every city in Tahiti has at least one dance school as most tahitian children practice ‘Ori Tahiti.
The tahitian dance is inked in the polynesian culture and it is transmitted from one generation to another. Our dance is considered as a sport because it makes you sweat !
Every Wednesday and Friday afternoon, each dance school opens their doors to receive the young dancers aged between 4 to 18+, most of them are girls.
ZOOM on Tahiti Ora
Based in the city of Paea (Tahiti, French Polynesia), Tahiti Ora dance school has been founded in February 2008 by the famous and charismatic Tumata Robinson.
