Nine Middle School answered the call of this Heiva Taure’a 2021 : Bora Bora, Makemo, Raiatea, Maco Tevane, Mahina, Papara, Taravao as well as Paea and Hitia, of which it was the first participation. All the dancers, muscicians, singers are aged between 11 and 14 years old, this is a beautiful succession of Polynesian culture.
Ath the end of three magnificent evenings of competitions which brought together more than 300 young artists, 11 prizes were awarded :
- 1st prize Heiva Taure’a: the high school of Bora Bora
- 2nd Heiva Taure’a Prize : Maco Tevane Middle School
- 3rd Heiva Taure’a Prize : Papara Middle School
- The Jury’s favorite : The Maco Tevane Middle School for the continuity of the educational app roach
- Jury Favorite : Hitia’a middle school for its ” Naehu Faua Ra’atira
- Prize for the best dancer Ori Tane : Kelema Iorss from Paea Middle School
- Prize for the best dancer Ori Vahine : Honovai Marurai from Paea Middle School
- Best ORERO award : Naehu Faua from Hitia Middle School
- Prize for the best artistic interpretation : Bora Bora Middle School
Next year, the Heiva Taure’a will be organized in 2022, we are looking forward to discover the next dance performances !
