The choreography tutorial will be available today!
It’s on January 30th 2016 that the Polynesians will attempt to beat the World Record of the largest number of dancers reunited at the same place. The participants are expected at 12:00 at the Atimaono Golf. The attempt will starts at 3:30pm.
The Polynesians will try to beat the Mexicans! On September 5th, they were 1539 dancers reunited in Mexico. On january 30th, the goal will be 3000 dancers and maximum 4950 dancers.
This event is supported by Makau FOSTER & her dance troupe TAMARIKI POERANI, MOOREA, the towns of PAEA, PAPARA, PAPEARI, MATAIEA, ATIMAONO GOLF, TNTV & TAHITI TOURISM.
The dancers can register with all the school dance, with the dance troupe and cities halls. They will divide everyone in groups of 50 persons.
Individual registration are possible at TAMARIKI POERANI dance school ans also the D-day but only from 10:00am to 12:00. The dance groups can obtain the registration forms at the following e-mail address: firstname.lastname@example.org
It have 2 types:
- the individual registration form that each dancer have to fill.
- participants recap sheets with the numbering from 1 to 50.The dancers must have 12 years old or more the participate. Registration : 1000xpf per dancer it include 1 official T-shirt of the event + the bottle of water. A wristband will also be given at the registration, the D-day everyone must wear it for counting.
The prescribed uniform is the following one: a crown-flowers, a red pareo, the official T-shirt & the wristband.
THE WORLD RECORD ATTEMPT
The World Record attempt will be done on a registered percussion piece for a period of 7 minutes. The minimum regulatory approval for the record is 6 min.
